Kia ora,
I’ve had a busy week so far. Here’s a round up:
- I’m wrapping up an edit for an author I’ve worked on four manuscripts with. He’s one of the first authors who contacted me when I first started my business. I’ve loved seeing how his writing process has developed over the years!
- Autumn is on its way here in the lower South Island. We had the fire going for the first time last night – I love those cosy evenings in front of the fire with a hot chocolate and a good book!
- The Mountain Film and Book Festival has announced the speaker line-up for the 2025 festival. I’m excited to see Beth Rodden speak!
- Now that the clocks have changed, I’m enjoying post-work walks to catch the sunset.
Okay, over to you. What’s one thing you’re excited about as the seasons change? Reply and let me know!
Until next time, stay warm (or cool, if you’re in the northern hemisphere).
Deborah
PS: Last week I finished reading What Happens if You Keep Going? by Tim Mathis. This is such a wonderful collection of travel stories, and I’m not just saying that because Tim said nice things about New Zealand and my home town! I highly recommend it, and I definitely recommend supporting indie authors like Tim 😀
📚 What I’m reading
A Training School For Elephants, by Sophy Roberts. This is a big book on a heavy topic. It’s taking me some time to get through it.
📅 Availability
