Write the adventure: for travel & adventure writers

Kia ora,

First off: Thank you for the replies to last week’s question about where you are in the writing process. You’ve helped me a lot!

You probably know that I offer free sample edits. I provide these so you can see what my editing style looks like before you invest in a full edit. You need to know whether we’re a good fit and that I get you and your project.

Same goes for me. Before I spend 50+ hours beavering away on your story, I need to understand what it’s about and what motivated you to write a whole book.

Well, another way we can get to know each other is by video call (I use Google Meet. It’s cheaper than Zoom 😅). You can tell me more about your story, and I can tell you more about my process. And if you’re lucky, we’ll be joined by my editing assistant, Ada (my cat).

Just like the sample edits, these chats are free. There’s no pressure to book your editing with me either. Having a chat can be a good way to figure out where you’re at and what your next steps should be.

Looking forward to talking with you!

Cheers,

Deborah
